2019-2020 USC Transfer

another day of nothing on my portal

Nothing

nothing :frowning:

Nothing either. Ughhhh.

Just to think my poor old self was refreshing my portal in April lol

Nothing

this is starting to get annoying

Nothing as well.

This year is extremely peculiar due to the scandal.

USC is taking its time to consider each applicant carefully. We can do nothing now but hope for the best.

Fight on!

I also feel the anxiety because the waiting seems endless and for those who got an SGR be prepared to potentially hear back in June or even July.

let’s try and be optimistic guys; for those of us who haven’t yet received sgr’s, we’ll be getting a firm decision by the end of the month. it’s half over already! nearly two weeks and we’re good

After checking threads from previous years, I found that May 20 ish is the big wave of rejections but USC should release most acceptances by now.

However, there was only one small wave of acceptances on May 1st.

If we still hear nothing by tomorrow and Friday, I am guessing USC will send the majority of acceptances and rejections at the same time.

nothing…

yes they are requesting my w2s

@turntechgm That is not always true. In rare cases, there are a few students who never received an SGR but still heard back in June or even early July. There is no guarantee.

I have a friend who applied last year heard back in early July. He got into Spring 2019 but he ever got an SGR.

@sagaciousforever do you think if we get an answer next week, it could still be an acceptance? Due to this year being different than past years

@supreme99870 Of course. I am thinking that we will hear back tomorrow and Friday (hopefully).

If not, we will enter into May 20 ish starting next Monday. So USC might release acceptances and rejections at the same time.

The acceptance wave on May 1st was small.

I wish everyone who is waiting here the best of luck. The waiting is painful but we are almost there.

Im tired of waiting omg please have mercy on us usc PLEASE

@GoodAfternoonSir Let’s all hope for some good news this week or next week!

Our waiting is agonizing, but it is certainly not the worst.

I have a friend who got accepted to Spring 2019. He did not get an SGR but still heard back in early July.

Indeed, his case is extremely rare but this may happen.

@sagaciousforever that’s true, but those people likely constitute a negligible number when considering the entire pool of transfer applicants, otherwise usc would have amended their date of may 31 to reflect this. if you want to consider that belated date, by all means, go ahead. realistically, most of us will hear by usc’s official date
