@FlashyT I’m going to have to disagree with you about transfers to USC. My daughter transferred in from a school in Rhode Island to USC this year as a sophomore (not a TTP) and she has had nothing but open arms welcoming her from every direction - students and admin. And, coming from a family that has many Princeton grads and current attendees, you are misinformed about their transfer population. They only opened to transfers 2 years ago and they accept exactly 12 people and most, if not all, are ex-military. Not sure what in the world Trump has to do with in your assessment, but I cant tell you 100% that Princeton is a very liberal school and most people deplore him, including the Princeton administration.

@zettasyntax Sorry lmao what I meant was getting into USC as undecided instead of the major I applied for which is business. But thank you for you’re help haha I wasn’t too sure how the process was for sophomore applicants but what you said totally makes more sense!
I have a complicated question. When I applied to USC, I applied as a Junior transfer applicant (even though I am a freshman) because I planned on having 59 units by the end of this semester (transferring from private 4-year in SoCal). I realize that I probably should’ve applied as a sophomore transfer because of the high possibility of not a lot of my classes transferring. Also, I ended up not taking a certain extra 3 units this semester so I actually only have 56 units. For awhile I just figured USC wouldn’t care and would just place me as either transfer, especially considering that most junior transfers don’t actually transfer as juniors.
Anyways, my question is, should I contact someone and explain that I need to change my application to a sophomore applicant? If it’s too late, will this hurt my decision?
@flyingpancakes00 your class standing is just based on the amount of units you have completed. has nothing to do with your application!
