I’m confused, what is going on this year that makes it different? I thought the scandal would make next year’s admissions difficult not this years.
Hopefully they admit more poc bc of the scandal, a brown boy could hope lol
I strongly think that a main reason why my decision is delayed is because of my USC counselor Clay Busia, who was involved in the college scandal. The admission probably needed to do a thorough investigation before making a decision.
Perhaps all transfer applicants who’s counselor is Clay Busia haven’t heard anything yet.
@sagaciousforever It’s a possibilty. I find it a little interesting that I got my decision already because my counselor Yvonne Hays doesn’t have her picture up on the USC Admissions Counselor website anymore. I’m not sure if some applicants have mentioned that she hasn’t replied to their emails.
@Becausethety The news broke probably as they were examined applications. I’m sure next year will be similar unless they streamline the process within the next year.
@sagaciousforever my counsleor was Clay Busia as well. Im a Dornsife applicant and have heard nothing as well. But my friend from the same school has Busia as well, he got in on May 1st for Marshall.
@sagaciousforever @mase31 But your counselor doesn’t really play a role in the decision. They’re not the ones choosing who gets in or not. The relationship you’ve built with them doesn’t really go towards anything either. I think something in regards to the scandal is holding everything back but I don’t think counselors have to do anything with it.

Does anyone know if they release acceptances in any particular order (besides school)…? Perhaps the order in which decisions are made or are they completely random?

@GoodAfternoonSir I’m really sorry about that. My counselor only responded once and said “thanks for the updates.” I wish we had been blessed with the super responsive and helpful counselors .-.
@GoodAfternoonSir Giving you an update 
The admission director who’s email the admission office gave me is my new counselor, they assigned me a new one & he was really helpful. So if you call and explain Christine was your counselor they’ll appoint you to someone who can help and will probably answer your emails too.
