I got nothing but, I’m going to keep checking for a bit.
Nothing ):
@scatransfer I’m really hoping for tomorrow for us. A Wednesday or Friday seems more probable but who knows with how behind they are.
@FemmeFilmFatale There’s a good chance decisions will be released this week. Sadly we might get rejections this week considering next week is the deadline they set out for either decisions or SIRs.
hey everyone im a Marshall transfer applicant from a cc, I got a SGR but I am freaking out because I will finish my semester with one B in business calculus, and 3 A’s, GPA expected to be at 3.7
I am worried because my cumulative is around 3.4 (yes I know im not that competitive GPA wise) with a decent upward trend, will this B kill my chances??
i received my SGR may 5th
@brave1234 when did you receive the SGR?
@mase31 Yeah, I agree. I just wish there was some sort of pattern or date. It really weighs down on you every day not knowing anything. Ugh. Hopefully everyone’s torture will end soon. I just read on the FAQ that the enrollment deposit is due June 1st if you weren’t SGR’ed. So, something has to come soon.
may 5th
@FemmeFilmFatale my mailman said he’d be sure to come to my door and drop off the package ): hopefully that’s soon!
@FemmeFilmFatale Same. All this uncertainty is enough to make anyone lose their marbles. Did you get a SGR?
@mase31 No, I don’t think so. I haven’t received a decision yet.
@scatransfer I have a PO Box but the person there said he’d put it somewhere special so I could get it. At this point, I don’t care if my decision comes on the portal or in the mail.
@scatransfer That’s awfully sweet of him. @FemmeFilmFatale
yuck but I guess not yuck? haha I meant *SGR
@mase31 no. I sent in a screenshot of my unofficial grades anyway. It doesn’t change my GPA at all but someone suggested doing that on this thread if we got them before the 31st.
@brave1234 Hi I am in the exact same situation as you. I received a B in Business calc during the fall semester yet I still received an SGR last week. I hope it works out for both of us.
wishing both of us the best. Im just worried that this B could be the one to sink my ship.
If we did not receive a decision by now, does that typically mean rejection?
@aayt132 no, not at all. Almost none of the schools have released their decisions. Everyone is still in the running.
@FemmeFilmFatale Oh ok interesting. I just assumed that most of the Marshall decisions that came out early may now mean that our chances are slim or non-existent. I had a 3.64 at a university and then a 4.0 the last two semesters at community college. Hopefully, that is enough.
@aayt132 Everything is really different this year. I have days where I think I’ve been rejected. Waiting for a decision just weighs down on everyone.
A 4.0 the last two semesters is good. That should show a lot of upward trend. Good job!
