hi. my sgr got removed off of my portal. I haven’t submitted it yet since my semester ends on Thursday. what does this mean and what should I be expecting? it was there the last few days and now its gone
@ttpbaby23 That’s something you should ask admissions about. That also happened to but my semester doesn’t end for a few weeks. So I’m patiently waiting to see what happens.
@kaimiller I emailed my counselor but I got an automatic response email saying she is out until tomorrow. kind of worried

My son was accepted to USC via email last Friday. (Still no box, though!) He had previously received an SGR, but since he’s finishing finals this week, his final grades aren’t available yet.
Now we wait for the FA so he can choose between UCLA and USC.

@CABoyMom Congrats to your son! Just to clarify - your son received an SGR and did not send the grades in yet still received an acceptance?
I did not send SAT scores either because I had above 30 units, and I never took the SAT to begin with due to me going to a CC first.
Hope many of us can get great news at 5pm PST.

@mase31 lol, that’s what I did when I had mine. I wouldn’t do any work till after 5…I was so naive, lol.
@FemmeFilmFatale Ooh you’re already done? Ahh I think I’m so used to furiously refreshing my portal/awaiting news until 5 pm that I can’t focus until afterwards
@mase31 Yes, I finished on the 10th! I’m a lot less stressed right now…I could be not stressed if USC released more decisions, lol. Instead of being anxious at 5 only, I’m now anxious till 6 because it seems like decisions come anytime within that hour.
I’ve emailed my counselor (David Jones) twice already and still no response. Should I keep emailing him or email someone else? Its regarding some important information about my application.
@ramblebrisket I’d call the admissions and see what they’d prefer you to do. Odds are they’ve already made a decision and bugging a counselor isn’t the way to go, imo.
