If you have not received a decision, please don’t assume you are rejected. USC is taking longer this year and we should not base everything off the threads off previous years
Does anyone know when financial aid typically comes in after getting admitted? I’m really stuck between choosing Berkeley or USC and financial aid is probably going to be what seals the deal. I don’t want to SIR to USC without knowing how much it’s going to cost.

Does anyone have a clue on when the decisions for admittance for spring grade requested individuals come? In particular Marshall?
@HeyItsNick That’s correct. My son received an SGR (has not yet sent them, as he’s still in school) but received an acceptance anyway.

@FlashyT the deposit is $300 by June 1st or 2 weeks after your acceptance has arrived if I’m not mistaken!
Has anyone signed up for orientation yet?
@LukaLea It really depends. Some people can hear back within the same week after sending spring grades. Some after two weeks. Some take a month. I personally took about a month to hear back after my SGR. One of my favorite people from the 2014 thread (a Marshall guy) heard back around July 11th, so he had about a month long wait as well and even wanted to withdraw his application because of how long it was taking. However, USC isn’t really sticking with their past trends this year, so it’s quite hard to make any kind of predictions.
Hi! I haven’t really been keeping up with this thread lately so I’m not sure if someone already answered this question but I haven’t received a SGR yet and I just got my spring semester grades and I got a 4.0 so I want to send in my grades asap. Do you think it’s okay for me to 1) send in my grades despite them asking for it and 2) if I send in my transcript does it have to be official or can I just send in my unofficial one?
@sydolay You can upload a screenshot onto the portal so that they have access to it asap. But I would advise you to also send an official transcript. It’ll get there fairly quickly if your college offers electronic transcripts.

Like most students, I am dying to receive my admissions decision. With that being said, I try to stay updated with the forums. Out of curiosity, has anyone received anything from Viterbi? I know the website states all results will be released by the 31st, but the wait is testing my patience lol.
The good news is that is really should be anytime now, because that is all that is left.
Frankly, it is always this agonizing. They start with Marshall and Dornsife, the difference is they started results a week later, then rather than spread more Marshall and Dornsife results individually out over the following week or two like they have done in past years, they had another kinda burst. Annenberg silence has been so bizarre. Like clockwork, they follow M&D results a week later, but not this year.
Viterbi loves May 16, but that has come and gone with no Viterbi acceptances, so if we assume they are a week late as well, one would think tomorrow would be the latest for them. I am hoping something starts dropping today. You too, eh? lol.
Normally “you are not admitted” (not a fan of rejected) has faithfully come out the 24th. But we are behind on acceptances for that target to be hit. Unless they change things up and roll them all at once - acceptance and rejections - frankly, that would be fantastic and way less agonizing than dragging out rejections to late next week.
To sum it up, WHO FRIGGIN KNOWS? Good luck all, keep busy - it is what it is at this point. So carry on!
@CADREAMIN I haven’t received a SGR or Anything. Would you say that Dornsife is done admitting this year?
