USC’s long waiting explained:
No SGR/WGR = Acceptance or Rejection by June 1st (most likely); June or early July (very rare)= Last year, one of my friend heard back in early July (Spring admit) and he did not get an SGR.
SGR/WGR = Fall/Spring/Rejection=People who made Fall/Spring may hear back in June or even early July. An SGR can significantly delay the process.
Rejections= Usually come on May 24th= This year may be different.
NOTHING… I wonder how much longer USC is going to make us wait. USC is my dream school and I worked very hard to increase my chances of getting in; however, at this point I just want to know if I’m in or not. I just want a response.
USC: yeah, the decision timetable is gonna be totally random and let’s make the previous years’ patterns redundant.
Us: ARE WE A JOKE TO YOU?!?
FYI: Many will not receive SGR because they’ve already fulfilled the required transfer courses and credits. That is the case with me. Although I’m still enrolled in a Spring semester, I did not receive SGR because I’ve already fulfilled the necessary transfer requirements.
I got a fall grades request yesterday
does anyone know if the same thing happened with the freshmen admits? Did they have to wait till the last minute as well or was it pretty standard for them?
@FemmeFilmFatale Freshman admission is set so everyone gets the decision at the same date and time.
@sagaciousforever Huh. I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info though! I thought maybe we’d be able to tell something from that but, I guess not.
At least I didn’t get rejected today on my birthday but probably will soon.

Is SGR a good sign at the moment? I am just worried about my finals and I have an SGR

Has anyone from any other schools than Dornslife or Marshall/Viterbi heard anything? Obviously since no one replied to my comments or acknowledge me I’m guess there probably aren’t any applicants to Keck

Today was my graduation day for community college so I’ve been a bit busy lately. I’m glad all the work is finally over now I can actually have a good nights rest haha.

Anyone expecting a SGR (major requirement in progress) still not get one yet?
