@zettasyntax Many of my friends got accepted in UC schools and they dont even care about checking USC now. You are very right.

@zettasyntax Do you know if labs are required for both the Life Science and Physical Science categories?
Alrighty, so I just got my housing application finished. I was able to choose from Cardinal Gardens and the Cale and Irani Residental College. Those were the only undergrad apartments open. There were four different rooming options (2 for each) so, it seems like there is some space but, not much.
Lucky for me, both were by SCA which is what I was wanting.
@mase31 Hmm, not really sorry. For the old GE pattern, we just had to take any science course (physical or life) provided it had a lab. Not sure how it works now. Looking at an articulation agreement between USC and your school would be more helpful than me, haha. If you haven’t completed both of those categories, I’m pretty sure most science classes at USC will have a lab.
I still haven’t heard back about SCA Film and TV. I assume at this point I won’t get in but I got into NYU Tisch so I’m not stressing anymore.
Hi so I had a SGR on my portal with a red x meaning they hadn’t received it yet. This afternoon I checked my portal and the spring grade request had disappeared. I had sent my spring grades in yesterday and sent them to my counselor via email which he confirmed he received. Should I be worried or is that just an indicator that they received my grades?
@daniiellesara Hi, I got some good news.
So while I haven’t received my decision yet (I’m a marshall applicant), Maria Rodriguez, the senior assistant director who’s jurisdiction is Davis among other places, replied back to my email detailing significant information. She told me that she has “added this information to my application”.
I think this is a good sign, what do you think?
@lrigrotcart Same GPA as you, and I’ve finished all my pre-reqs I think, unless micro econ is considered a pre-req? But im pretty sure its not
I might be mistaken but I believe that it is indeed a prereq, like a calc credit and some other things @Pmilller324
@GoodAfternoonSir Definitely!! When I had to give an information update they told me the same thing so I’m assuming that’s a good sign 
I just hope to hear back today. Regardless of the decision.

Still waiting on housing application. I cant decide what housing I want. Might do off campus apartments if USC can get me a good financial aid package. Outside that any recommendations? I am a marshall student. Pretty social. I do prefer to have only one bed in my room so I can have an own room. (Don’t mind sharing an apartment, just not the room really)
I applied for film & T.V as well, only production has heard back. Hopefully, we’ll hear back today! @jakecap1123
@zettasyntax Thank you for your help! See that’s the thing… I made sure to take a course that was approved by USC according to the articulation agreement. And on my STAR report it says that I still need to complete that GE. 
The only thing I can think of is that I didn’t complete the lab for my physical science, since I did take the lab for my life science. I emailed my academic advisor to see what can be done.
