2019-2020 USC Transfer

@dodgers2235 You are right. “Most likely” is the right word. I have a friend who got into Spring 2019 and he got notified in early July. He did not get any SGR.

Hang in there!

Is there a admitted students group?

@sagaciousforever thank you for your energy!

Admitted!! For political science 3.9 gpa from a local cc

@Brendyb10 @sagaciousforever thank you guys!

I sincerely hope that I will be able to hear some good news, whether it’s Fall or Spring admission, by tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday.

Looking at my application, I should be a favorable candidate. I have a 3.77 from Pepperdine, where classes are harder than CC (no means to look down to CC). USC should take that into consideration and I have a significant upward trend. I got 3.9 ish for both my Fall and Spring sophomore semester.

I am confused that I did not get an SGR, but I still uploaded my spring grades at the end of April.

I want USC so bad now. The more I wait the more I am thinking that I might get into Spring or even get rejected. The uncertainty is the worst.

I have been in this thread since March and hopefully we will all hear good news soon.

Whatever happens, I don’t regret for applying to USC. I got into UCSD so far but have no intention to attend.

Fight on!

Admitted! International relations with 4.0 gpa from Cal Poly Pomona!!

I was admitted last Friday but still haven’t received my financial aid package yet. Do they usually alert you through the email?

@sydolay I go to Cal Poly Pomona too, I just got an SGR for computer science

Also when is the last day to SIR?

@sydolay Maybe I’ll be a Bronco turn Trojan too. Kinda hard to find people on campus who had the same ambitions

3.85 GPA, just got my SGR for Viterbi (Computer Science)
I just finished my first year of college at Cal Poly Pomona and have finshed all the math all the way up to Linear Algebra w/differential equations

when and how do we find out about our financial aid? (sorry if this was already asked)

@sagaciousforever Damn, that sucks. I hope you get good news buddy. Even if you don’t get in, you’re still in good hands with Pepperdine

@sagaciousforever Not picking on you, but gotta correct some info you have put out there:

Nope. There are very few transfers admitted in spring, so there will not be “many” spring admits. Most admitted will be admitted for fall.

Nope. You have posted this 26 times (seriously, go count). Everyone will have some kind of status on the 31st, (admitted, rejected, SGR) - if you don’t, contact USC. Do not sit there for the next 6 weeks thinking something will come any day if you have had zero communication from USC by the 31st. This is not how it works.

@sagaciousforever your stats are amazing! Just wait… decisions this year seem to be sent randomly… like I said before, I have a friend who got an acceptance last year on May 31st.

@blueskies2day Thanks for making the correction. It’s interesting that you actually counted… I hope that I am able to make Spring at least if not for Fall.

I will contact USC admission if I hear nothing by this Friday. My friend who heard back in July without SGR is certainly rare.

@HouseTrojan32 Thank you!! Like I said, whatever happens, I will start a new journey beginning from there.

Regardless of staying or leaving, I need to have school pride, which I don’t have before.

Also, I need to find a girlfriend so badly. This year I have spent too much time studying in the library.

@Brendyb10 Hopefully we will all make it. We have waited for so long already so an extra one, two, or three days is fine.

Did your friend get into Fall or Spring last year?

@sagaciousforever she got into fall 2018. Hopefully, fingers crossed! Let’s Stay positive; hang in there ?
