Does anyone know if sending in my SGR late will affect my chances of getting in? My school won’t release our spring grades till mid June. @CADREAMIN? @zettasyntax?

@GotYa55 It won’t affect your chances of getting in. It would just potentially increase the likelihood that you’d be a spring admit, but that’s about it. That’s not to say you couldn’t be a fall admit; plenty of those still happen for SGR students.

Welp. At this point I’m just gonna commit to Boston University. Just got rejected from NYU Tisch today and SCA isn’t looking very likely at this point, realistically. I guess I’ll work on building my screenwriting portfolio at Boston and try again as a junior transfer.

How did you get notified of the acceptance e-mail or portal?
Apparently people who got a SGR in May, will hear back by July. I hate waiting.
@SonarBoom123 There’s a couple people who received a SGR early May and heard back after a couple days of submitting their spring grades.
@GotYa55 yea I’ve seen those but I sent in my grades May 8 and they told me to not expect anything till June. I guess some people got lucky

So I just won an award today at my school, should I upload it to the portal or is there really no point at this time you guys think? I mean I think I’ll do it because it won’t hurt but I mean is it really gonna do much lol
