@poolsideconvo78 possibly I didn’t get a glimpse of the entire convo but it honestly looked like they were steering WAY off the topic of this forum and being combative about it. I mean some of us are already stressed about acceptances do we really need more conflict lol
@filmmajorusc I was accepted on the 17th and paid my deposit without waiting for my financial aid package. I received the housing email on the 20th and the orientation one one the 21st. Hope that helps

I am submitting my spring grades since I have an SGR, but how would I add more information. I had to drop a class but also want to add an extracurricular and an academic award. How would I do that?
@poolsideconvo78 I would write an explanation letter for the W and also emphasize on the academic award received. You can upload a letter under “Gap Year Explanation” it should be on your portal
@CADREAMIN The Campus Center is where I’d run into my friendly solicitor, haha. I did always enjoy eating outside, but usually in the mornings. I always wound up with EARLY classes like an 8AM and I’d pick up something from Seeds and eat outside. It was nice how mellow/quiet things usually were in the morning. I was easily impressed with the food from Seeds. I liked almost everything. I still miss their BBQ chicken. Ah, those were the days 
@zettasyntax Hoping for a decision today! Seems like this year USC is still going to release acceptances (Fall and Spring) on May 30th and May 31st.
rip. a lot of CS were accepted today. happy for you all frfr! but hurts seeing it cus that means my chances are lowered. lol but if im rejected i know ill get over it cus im only a freshman. Congrats to all and good luck to others like me who are waiting (but SGR so not gonna hear till HELLA later -_-)
I got in from spring grade request. I had SGR and they got my spring grades Tuesday and today (Wednesday) i found out I got in.
Will they email first if there is an update on the portal? Either for an SGR or acceptance/rejection?

I am confused. I am a Viterbi applicant and USC Admissions called me yesterday afternoon (2PM EST) but I did not know that until this morning because their call showed up “Scam Likely” for the caller ID. Does anyone know what is a possible scenario that they would call me? Thanks and fight on!

@calibestcoast maybe they wanted clarification in regards to something on your application or they wanted to speak with you. It can be anything. If they need to get a hold of you, they will probably call back.
how many comms majors received a SGR?
hi everyone! after the longest wait of my life, I got in! psychology major with an sgr. I went to cc this first year and got a 3.57 gpa first semester and a 4.0 this spring semester. I got my sgr on April 14 while at Coachella and then I didn’t even get to submit my official transcript to the school yet but they still accepted me! I stayed in close communication with my counselor and we had a really good bond which I think did help with the admissions process. everyone STAY POSITIVE! good things do come to those who wait…FIGHT ON!!!
