Where should I send my spring grades?
USC Office of Admission
Undergraduate
University Park Campus
Los Angeles, CA 90089-0911
Is this the right one?
@bissmiss That is the address I sent mine too. The email I got said a different address, but on the website it says that one.
I also but “Office Manager” under the Attention portion, that’s what my email said when l received my SGR
Yes, but you can scan/photo a copy to your advisor and email it to get it there quick and mail the legit one as well.
@CADREAMIN Hi! Do you know if there is somebody I can email my transcript to if my counselor is no longer at USC? Clay Busia is still listed as my counselor, but it is my understanding that he no longer works for the school.
Update: One of my friends recently called Admissions and Records and whoever was on the other line said that it won’t be rolling admissions, but instead, the rest of us will be able to hear back once most of the official transcripts for SGR’s are in. This being said, the latest everyone would have to wait is mid-July, but we could very possibly hear back by the end of June/early July.
So just to be sure, we can accept our offer by August 1 right?
@kmbtz that’s weird bc my counselor said that it is rolling admissions so im totally confused now LOL
@spumonii, my counselor was Clay as well. Super bummed that he left! Our new counselor is Adriana Serrano Guiterrez!
@spunaugle @Zoe528 My admission counselor was also Clay Busia. He was related to the college admission scandal so he resigned in February. You can find details about him if you google him.
In May, I just contacted the general USC admission office to deliver my message or ask any questions should I have. You just need to go to “Ask USC” and choose to email USC from there. You will get an automated response and then USC responds fairly quickly.
But yeah, as @Zoe528 mentioned that it is always nice to have a new admission counselor.
I just got a response from USC admission office. They said that it is not possible this year for Spring admits to be bumped up to Fall. When I asked, they simply replied “There are no spots available for Fall”.
Also, I have not gotten my USC email yet. Does anyone know how long it will take? I need my USC ID’s password as well to access OASIS.
@barev1 Yes. This is what the acceptance letter says:
" To accept this offer, simply log in to admission.usc.edu/status and submit your Spring 2020 Intent to Enroll. Students should submit their Intent to Enroll by August 1 or within two weeks of receiving your offer of admission, whichever is later."
@bissmiss This is the correct mailing address.
@Uscfighton93 Congratulations on your acceptance! I think USC simply does not have spot for your major, but they still see your potential as a successful Trojan.
Just earn good grades once you get to USC and apply for major change.
@Shwchlorine I have no idea either… Why does every official give us a different answer to every question? That’s what I’m getting more concerned about as my final decision approaches…
@krnbtz Because they like messing with our feelings lol. Based on last years thread, some SGR students started hearing back June 12. Not sure if that’s going to be the same thing year.
Just an FYI to anyone that got an SGR and recently sent in their final grades. It took them almost two weeks to process mine and have them posted as “received,” even though my school has confirmed that they had already been opened. I had to email my counselor to ask what was going on. She got back to me a week later and almost right away, it changed to “received”.
^ I can attest to this, I received a WGR back in April and the same thing happened. It took a little over two weeks to process.
@Uscfighton93 what major in Annenberg are you interested in pursuing?
The rest of the admits will be more of sputters than waves. They will be released more randomly than they have been. There may be a couple bursts - one in middish June and one final push around July 8-10. So you may see a few more post during those. But don’t be surprised to see a random single post over the next 4-5 weeks.
And as mentioned earlier, spring transfer admits are never bumped to fall. Regular admits would have priority on those spots if they were to come up.
@CADREAMIN I see! I am also wondering when will I get my USC email, ID, and password.
I need to check my credit report and see what classes I should take for Fall 2019. I will most likely take some classes at CC during Fall 2019.
@sagaciousforever I’m in the same boat, fall semester classes are filling up at my CC.
