@PBJelly2020 Thank you! I don’t think that’s any cause for concern, if it helps I’m a Psych applicant so maybe for that major they already had some stuff figured out/there’s less applicants than say business or engineering so they could get their decisions out faster? I wouldn’t worry about it, for some people it took 3 weeks to hear back before they got accepted!

sent in my spring grades on saturday morning, marked as received that same day. i emailed my counselor letting her know that i sent them in and she replied thanking me. when do you think i will hear back? im ttp
@trojantransfer1 I wouldn’t expect a decision today, but possibly by the end of the week? I called admissions last week and the person said that after a certain point admissions waits to review the second batch of SGR admissions cause of the quarter system, so idk if this week would be the cutoff? Again, this is all speculation so I wouldn’t take everything i say as a guarantee. There’s some people on here who heard back same day and day after so who knows!
@transfer2024 sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe transfer appeals don’t hear back until August ):
Just sent in my SGR and sent my counselor and email letting her know. Guess that’s all that was left… is there a day of the week that people have been hearing back or has it been pretty random?
Hey I’m a transfer applicant and I received an SGR.
I sent my spring grades on May 15th and they were marked as received and showed up in my portal on May 23rd. I called the admissions office and they said I’ll receive a response anywhere from now to July 1st.
I was wondering as to how long it usually takes and if anyone else is in this situation?
P.S. I’m an out of state applicant, no ttp or legacy, and I applied to Dornsife economics as a sophomore.
@trojantransfer1 My Spring grades were received on the same day that I submitted it as well. I think even within five minutes.
I sent in my SGR today and my counselor just sent me an email saying I’ll hear back in a week or so

@trojantransfer1 Congrats to and welcome aboard the Trojan train! The disappearing withdraw app button is a solid indicator to stay at your computer for the rest of the day. 
Congrats to those who got accepted! anyone received a Viterbi decision?
Side note does anyone know the time frame in which USC sends out the majority of their transfer acceptances?
@carteek Decisions come out so randomly, I’m starting to think it depends on your major and how organized your admission counselor is. Some hear back the same day they submit their SGR, while others, like me, have waited three weeks.

@transfer2024 Transfer appeals can drag into August, yes. I think I found out in mid-August and had pretty much given up hope by then (and my appeal did ultimately fail that year). Another Trojan (one I used to chat with about linguistics classes) found out on August 1st about his original decision being overturned. So yeah, the waiting game that is transfer admissions can definitely apply to appeals as well.
