Does anyone know how accurate is the usc net price calculator?

I guess I’m being a bit unpatient since I turned in my SGR last Friday and I did see some people get acceptances in July from last years thread.
The thing is, if I don’t get a decision by Friday I’ll have to enroll in a ‘mandatory’ summer class at my current uni. I don’t want to throw a few thousands dollars down the drain if I do get into USC. Should I call admissions?
i had the same question about summer classes and asked my counselor. he said if the class is transferrable to usc then you can transfer it. so you shouldnt worry about that

My net price calculator assumed I would be paying about $12k more out of pocket than what I actually received. But i really have no idea how it’s finalized. Just my experience. The net price calculator is probably more accurate if you are a dependent because its easier to calculate and maybe more accurate. I’m not a dependent so I’m guessing thats why mine had such a large difference.
@PBJelly2020 I called admissions, the person that helped me said that they didn’t really know and I should get in contact with my admissions counselor.
Tbh, I probably won’t contact my admissions counselor, I don’t want to sound too pushy.
@Bobtarotea I’m in the same boat. I submitted my spring grades three weeks ago. I’m taking the non-transferable class but was hoping to drop with refund, but now it looks like I’m committed to losing the money. So bummed! I have reached out to my counselor and haven’t heard back, not surprising, just disappointing.
i submitted my spring grades on may 26th. since then i have talked to my admissions counselor and she said that decisions are released on a rolling basis and the latest we will hear is mid july.

^^^^I didn’t! I asked my advisor if they needed anything else and she said that they just look at spring grades.

@PBJelly2020 I hope so… last Friday of the month, but then again who knows. The only thing we know for sure is that all decisions will be out by mid July.
Another week with no-decision…
