@sprinttotheend based on observations of previous threads/trends and USC’s values you should not be worried about TTP…if you make the GPA requirement and stay clean on your record they will accept you. In fact they more than likely prioritze TTP students. Just remember that USC values legacies probably more than any other elite college in the nation. The only time I have ever heard of TTP students getting denied is because they earned below the GPA requirement (on past threads i’ve seen TTP students go to AUP or a four year and earn a 2.9, 3.0, and 3.1 and got denied). Even with that being said, I’ve seen TTP students get in with those GPA’s. I do not think you should be worried unless you screwed up at the current school you’re at.

I applied to USC as well as a few other schools as a transfer student. I have heard back from all the schools except for USC. The problem I face is that most of the other colleges I applied to have a deadline for my “intent to enroll” of May 1st but judging from previous years USC doesn’t get back to a lot of students until May or even later. Is it possible in any way to get my admission decision before May 1st?

@HapaTransfer Request deposit deadline extensions from other schools! Otherwise I don’t think there’s much you can do
Hi guys, on the FAST website, this message is displayed: “ Your financial aid application is currently in review. Please Note: We will notify you during the review process if additional documents are required. Financial Aid Summaries for transfer students will be released in early May”. Do you think this indicates that most decisions will be released by late April/early May?
That’s actually really interesting. Mine says the same thing- that could possibly be the case if they have a lot less transfer applicants than usual.
About a couple weeks ago, my FAST page said “Action Required”, so I needed to submit a couple of forms. However, about one week ago my portal updated and said “Application in Review” and shows that same message that you have. Based on last year’s forum, I believe that the same message was displayed. However, I hope as well that this is an indicator that we will get our decisions in late April/early May. That would be so amazing because the wait is dreadful! We shall see!

@seabee91 yeah bro, I’m using it at San Bernardino Valley College right now. I’m really thankful that they didn’t cut our benefits in half after we transitioned to online classes.
@collegeappusc heyyy! just watched it. unrelated but I got a Subaru too! okay, now I think you have a really great idea especially that twist in the end. The next part is just a suggestion, okay? In my opinion, there were shots you could’ve cut a little bit early. There were some shots that needed to transition to a different shot but were held a little too long. I liked the shot with the moon, I think you framed that perfectly. Other than that, I thought it was a pretty solid film!

unrelated to this thread of course but I also applied to NYU for film, I was accepted my senior year but they’re just so expensive so I wanted to get my gen ed’s out of the way at a local school and then found I liked USC a lot more so that’s my top school now. is USC also your top?
@uschopeful23 thank you so much. I was actually worried because it was an action film filmed in a different country and in another language. There was a lot of cursing too, so I was afraid that it might’ve been too different. Plus, it was my first time shooting an action film. So, if I did it correctly, is something in my mind too.

@collegeappusc Thank you! I think yours showed a lot of potential. I liked that little twist in the end too. Btw, one of the things I noticed too is that you used several music, did you cut some of those in your 5-minute cut for USC?
@collegeappusc and yes, USC is my top school. I actually didn’t apply to NYU, because I know that even if I didn’t get accepted at USC and was accepted by NYU, I wouldn’t move there. I just forgot to remove it from the title of my YT video
