I got the scholarship email too. But don’t worry if you didn’t get it! Requirements include: Family Contribution of less than $20,000. The email say it’s a separate process and that most people apply to the scholarship without even knowing if they got into USC ::)))
Accepted as a sophmore for Computer Science/Business Administration in Vertibi
@sisisidra i think so, since a LOT of people have been dropping or failing classes due to the corona transition
I am TTP
@NEC2022 well, that made me worry more lol. My family contribution is expected to be much less than that. Basically $0 contribution.
Do you know how long it takes to process documents? I sent my HS transcript about a month ago and it’s still marked ‘Awaiting’. Should I email my counselor?
yes, email them!!
shoot if I didn’t get an SGR does that mean they already made a decision? I still have a withdrawal application option on my portal though.
@uschopeful23 HI haha nice username
@phsick did you complete all the pre reqs ?
@uschopeful123 lmao i saw that! twins
I received an SGR as well. Only worried because I’m not taking a full course load this semester due to having a baby. Wonder if I should email an admissions counselor once I submit spring grades.
I didn’t get a spring grade request. Btw does anyone know if USC only releases on Wednesdays?
I completed the math and reading requirements but still have a physics class in progress that’s for my major.
Just thought I’d let people know my stats for SGR if people were wondering.
- Applied as Political Science major and second choice major International Relations.
- Freshmen in college right now with a 4.0 GPA. Completed 16 units in fall and 19 units in progress for spring Total= 35 units
- Took a lot of Political Science courses like PS 1, PS 5, PS 14, and PS 41
- Extracurriculars: I did A LOT in high school, however so for college I worked part time around 20-25 hours, newsletter coordinator for a club, and have a podcast.
- Completed all GE’s except for 2 because my counselor said I have to take 2 GE’s at USC regardless
- Finished math requirement in high school, BUT I am currently taking the writing requirement)
Hopefully this helps! Yes I still have the withdraw in my portal (don’t think this has an impact on people’s decision)
yea I didn’t get a SPG
Here we go again with the excruciating pain of the waiting
I did not get a SGR, but I did submit my mid term report. My school is on the semester system, but other schools that I applied to required it, so I just sent it into USC as well. maybe that is why I didn’t get a SGR???
Wait so for those who got a scholarship email, doesn’t that mean you got accepted???
@historylover5 Sounds like you are a well rounded applicant! Are you TTP?
