2020-2021 USC Transfer

My theory is most people will get a SGR because of the virus rn (some people are doing pass/no pass or withdrawing). That is probably why a good chunk of TTP students got SGR than admission.

Congratulations to all accepted so far! I’ve made a stats/decisions thread. I encourage you to post in there in order to organize the decisions posts and to help out future applicants. Good luck to everyone else anxiously awaiting their decisions. We are all in this together!

Dornsife (forgot to mention that) and Marshall are the early ones, but Dornsife’s go on throughout notification period because they are the biggest school with the most majors.

did anyone who’s not a TTP student get an SGR?

I’m not a TTP and did not get an SGR or acceptance today. Anyone else?

@franzgzlz24 hi, I used the form that was on the Common App and I submitted it on my portal around March 15th

Congrats to everyone that has gotten accepted! Be proud!

My son applied to Viterbi for Computer Science & is buckled in for the wild ride. He is currently a freshman at a CCC, not TTP. He has not received a WGR nor SGR. After he completed his Winter course he submitted an updated transcript so I’m hoping that’s why they haven’t requested grades. This is his second time applying to USC so we’re staying hopeful.

Good luck everyone!

I am not TTP and I got an SGR.

@tightbrigade what year are you applying as? and to what school at USC?

@CADREAMIN thank you for the insight! I was reluctant at first, and now I am going to decline the offer for a letter of rec.

@CADREAMIN do you happen to know if this wave is usually all acceptances or if there’s rejections we haven’t heard about yet?

Did anyone get accepted or rejected who is NOT Trojan Transfer Plan?

Got SGR…
Junior transfer with a 3.94 gpa

@lancer92839 are you TTP? and are you currently at CC or 4-year?

@dood523 Junior transfer to Dornsife. 4.0 and veteran coming from a California CC.

If I’m a second-semester sophomore applying to Marshall and I haven’t gotten an SGR, should I be worried? My GPA is a 3.7 and I have about 55 credits

I’m at a cc and I applied to Dornsife.

@TransferGuy08 did you complete math and writing?

@lancer92839 congrats, an SGR is good news! are you also TTP?
