It’ really uncommon. Most years it’s just a small handful. Other years they don’t move any. Basically, if you want to accept, you’d have to 99% assume you’ll be starting in the spring. On the 1% chance they bump you up, you’d have very little time to change plans as it can be late July or even August when they notify you.

i submitted my sgr 3 and a half weeks ago…whhhat
Is there another group forum for accepted transfer students. I am a rising sophomore and I am transferring from a CCC
Congrats to everyone and for all other students who are waiting/rejected don’t give up!
Don’t worry. I was looking at past forums from transfers in 2020 and some sent in their sgr in may and received their decision as late as early July
ok don’t say that hahahahahahah

Definitely ask. So many want to start in fall 2021, it might be any easy switch.

just checked my application and saw that my professor never sent in my rec letter lmao
Got Rejected from USC. GPA: 3.8. Thinking about appealing. Do you think they’ll be more lenient this time with appeals or that strange things can happen with the appeals this time given that strange things happened in the admissions process this year?
I would appeal if you have strong grades this spring semester and other important information you feel they overlooked. It never hurts to appeal
I got rejected
…My semester is over in two weeks. I’m sure I’ll finish with straight A’s and have an overall gpa of 3.88. Should I appeal my decision for Marshall? I’m still sticking with CSULB obviously but never hurts to try?
I’d say if you believe you’ll get straight A’s or you have some new developments that took place in the Spring semester or there something you were not able to mention in your application that could be of value, then you definitely could. It doesn’t hurt to try.
