yeah same :(( i think we’re just part of the last group to receive anything, i can’t make any plans for next semester yet until i hear back
I’ve been watching for your news, ugh. I would give it till Monday, then certainly email then. Thinking they may get some out tomorrow since 4th July week is coming up next week.
You can always say, checking in to be sure they have everything they need and want to let them know you are still committed to attend if admitted.
It took them 4 months to get back to me about my Non-Custodial Parent waiver just for them to deny it.
The USC Financial Aid office experience recently has been atrocious. Is there any way to appeal this rejection?
do any of y’all know if spring admits can get their student IDs this fall? i’m gonna be living off campus at trojandale but i kinda want access to the facilities during my gap sem
I don’t have an answer but I have another question lol I’m also a spring admit and living at lorenzo for fall, do you think we could sign up for usc clubs with our usc gmails/ids?
No, I tried to get mine but you have to be registered for classes for the next term to get one.
still waiting here.
Yes, had to make a new 3rd party letter and waiver. In the new one make it clear that your non-custodial parent is unable to pay for a good reason, lack of contact ect… Make it extremely clear, there’s a major difference between unable to pay and unwilling to pay. I’m still waiting for my second response, hopefully I’m approved because I have no way of getting that information.
darn
My SGR disappeared from the checklist… I don’t know if this means anything.
it means your sgr has been processed by your AO so that’s why they “remove” it from your file
any decisions today?
Nope, well not for me at least.
Any appeal updates?
Ah, that makes sense. Thank you!! Hopefully we’ll hear back very soon
I haven’t heard anything
Seems to be yet another disappointing Friday. ugh.
not yet
do you guys think its a good sign that they keep asking me for documents for my aid? any way that it could mean that I’m getting a decent package?
Number of documents doesn’t correlate to better aid package, it just means they need more info to come to a decision.
