There should be a section in your acceptance packet that essentially states that there is no need to contact them about being bumped up. Basically, they will let you know and there’s nothing you can do on your end. Believe me, I tried absolutely everything and did some pretty wild things that just look so immature looking back now. I will say that my admissions counselor had a very negative reaction and change of mood when I brought up the idea of trying to move up to the fall.
Agree with @zettasyntax! They specifically tell you not to ask to get bumped to fall. Everyone wants that, and they know it. Read through their blog and other feeds and you will see it says, don’t ask us to be moved to fall.
