Does anyone know if the Welcome Trojan Reservation is binding? I heard that the reservation is how you will receive an email regarding housing. I am a Spring 2022 admit and am trying to figure out my housing situation.
Thank you.

Thank you.
My daughter picked hers up on campus when we visited last month.
I ordered mine to be mailed to me. I believe they donāt offer that anymore, as school is about to start. So I say go online and put down the info and pick it up first day of school! You need it to get around campus, enter buildings and stuff.
@CADREAMIN - wanted to run this by you (if you are still hanging out on this thread). Was denied transfer admission to Viterbi after submitting SGR (slight dip in grades). Then submitted an appeal on July 17th, but no response yet (itās been a month). Tried calling Admissions Office and they said to connect with the local AO. Sent an email to AO but did not get a response back. With Fall starting classes starting in less than a week, expectations are low for an overturn, but do you think they may possibly just not even send a response to the appeal??
Hey yāall! I was off this thread for a minute Bc I wanted to enjoy my summer! I hope you all are well. I just want to appreciate USC financial aid Bc MAN they are so generous (fully funded my education with a university grant (insert cry here)) school starts in a week and Iām glad this thread existed during the months of long waiting, anxiety, and just overall worry during the admission cycle.
I hope to see yāall on campus next week!! To those who were denied and appealed and didnāt hear back/didnāt appeal at all, PLEASE try again this coming admissions cycle! USC had many apps this year bc of the previous 2020-2021 year due to COVID-19, so this admissions were very tough nonetheless. The fact you even applied shows how qualified you are
Please send me a private dm through college confidential, as I will be doing a FREE consultation on college apps to USC ONLY. No price, 1 on 1 zoom meetings, edits, advice, and planning. Completely free and there are no costs or any fees. I got yāall! Just dm me, Iāll give u my contact info, and we go from there! Hope to see you soon! FIGHT ON AND SEE YOU ALL NEXT WEEK!!
Shoutout to @CADREAMIN for all the help this admissions cycle! Appreciate you so much!
In brief, for those who donāt wanna read that paragraph, I am doing a FREE consultation for USC TRANSFER APPLICATIONS ONLY! No fees, no money out of ur pocket whatsoever. 1 on 1 zoom meetings, edits on essays, advice, and planning. Wanna give back to yāall! Dm me through college confidential (I get your dms to my primary email so I wonāt miss it) and Iāll give u my contact info! Thank you and fight on!
I know you asked @CADREAMIN , but I think you should move on and start ur app over again. U may have a slight shot at spring admission but thatās very slim. USC is moving on to the in person environment and I think they have already filled up spots. So good luck next Admissions cycle! I will be doing a free consultation for essay edits, 1 on 1 zoom meetings, advice, planning, and anything u request within limits! No money out of your pockets
I wrote all my essays myself, had no legacy, no additional help, and I have verified qualifications. So donāt hesitate to reach out!
Have you heard nothing at all about your appeal? Email? Mailed letter? Nothing? Here was my timeline back in the day. SGR request on 4/23, sent spring grades around June 9th (late ending semester), denied June 27th, appeal almost immediately, heard via email about my original decision not being overturned around August 11th or so. It was sadly into August when I heard back. They definitely should respond, but Iām wondering why itās taking so long. In the past though, Iāve noticed that those who are successful with their appeals usually hear back sooner rather than later. I mean itās not impossible of course, but given the successful transfer appeals Iāve noticed here on CC at least, they typically hear back early.
Sorry you have been in limbo so long, but the truth is, they really donāt actually commit to giving transfers a timeline for appeals. There is no process, so it goes on and on like anything in the transfer process it seems. You should just go on as if it is a no obviously at this point.
Just to get some closure, you can always call admissions and ask if there is anything in your file (including your appeal). You have one of those AOs that just isnāt responsive, ugh.
Thank you for your feedback.
Did call the admissions office and they said they saw the appeal in my file and that I needed to speak with my admissions officer. She just has not responded. I am sure eventually the reply will come. At best, it would be spring considering Fall classes start in a few days. But, no expectations. Thanks again!
Is there a reason why TTPs have to wait until may- mid july to find out this year? Furthermore, how will housing work for those students? Thanks.
I just completed my new student assembly at Annenberg, today!
And I am so inspired and equally terrified and excited for the road ahead!
I just wanted to drop one last line and wish all of my new peers the best of luck, but after that assembly I realized we donāt need it.
We belong here. We earned it. We are the future USC needs!
To new applicants lurking in the future:
Believe in yourself, believe in your causes, and even if you donāt get in- donāt give up!
@sinpo323 Thatās the Trojan spirit right there! Wish you best for your time at USC and where it takes you!
Hey sorry can you send my eh discord link again?
Depends on income. They meet 100% of demonstrated need.
The biggest scholarship they give for transfer is 1/4 ride.
To any of my Spring admit Peers, campus is hella daunting at first and kind of confusing so if you need any advice I got your back!
Iām a fall 2021 admit to Annenberg and definitely donāt know everything but I know my way around campus now
Hello @CADREAMIN and everyone else,
For those who have applied to USC, are applicants competing against everyone who has applied or is it based on major?
Hey everyone! Iām an admitted fall transfer in the cycle 2020-2021! I hope you all are enjoying this process; itās a long ride; I KNOW! If you have any questions about campus, the process, SGRs (I got an sgr during my process) please PM me! @CADREAMIN HEYYY! USC is amazing I hope all is well
I did too, what happend after?
