I am stunned, but also NOT stunned that so many still havenāt received their decisions on February 1.
And donāt chime in with āoh, but they said that would MAKE the decisions by Jan 31, but we might not GET the decisions by then,ā because that is lame. Theyāve had plenty of time to make decisions, and they should have gotten them all uploaded and visible by Jan 31, if not earlier. Iām sorry so many are still waiting.

With the technology we have available today I just donāt get why psu notifies and decides this wayā¦
I would add, many organizations have gone virtual. Iād be shocked that the staff does not have remote access to records and could make and upload decisions from home. I am certain this process is no longer paper-based. So with all the wind, snow, plummeting temperatures, and torrential rain storms, decisions can be made outside the confines of the Shields Building. They are a Global University. My $.02.

Btw, can u remind us about your status? Do I recall u are waiting for answer to request for reconsideration to summer? Admitted 2+2 for fall? I may have u confused with someone else 
Indeed. At this point itās inconceivable that all decisions havenāt been sent and received at this point. Itās not like weāre talking about snail mail hereā¦ Iām sorry for everyone still waiting.
We still havenāt been able to find a way to decline the offer of admission through the portal. Anyone else still having this issue?
@ziveli513 That is correct. My son applied mid-October for EA with intended major of Aerospace Engineering. Stats: OOS, 3.978 GPA. 1290 SAT, APs, Honors, Dual Enrollments, ECs. Was accepted 12/20 to 2+2 to a campus that doesnāt even have housing. As OOS, we are/were not familiar with Commonwealth campuses. Called back next morning for reconsideration to Summer start based on veteran board moderatorsā suggestions. Been waiting since. We didnāt want to change to DUS because he was accepted into the College of Engineering which is a milestone in itself. So with the reconsideration, I gather he will be re-evaluated for Fall again before Summer which is refreshing since Iāve seen some kids get accepted to UP for both Summer and Fall with lower stats than my son over the last week and a half.

@off2co11ege It was about a week after seeing the acceptance appear on the portal. White package with the Nittany Lionās paw print. Canāt miss it. ?

Mine isnāt working either. Tried logging in on my phone and it said āusername doesnāt exist, please try logging in again or calling admissions office for assistanceā then I switched to my laptop and it said āerror connecting to authentication server, please try again, the admissions team has been notifiedā. Iām assuming this is good? Pretty nervous right now.
The portal is down for me as well.
Maybe portal is just overwhelmed. Again
Iām sure there are thousands like us here who are waiting for decisions and checking in to portal to see if updated with this ridiculous system
And many may be calling and emailing admissions folks non stop, how do they get anything done?
To be more efficient and protect their operations for their own sake should be motivation to change this process next year

@ziveli513 not on the wait list, but for a 2+2 admission offer. I think itāll be a different process. Or maybe there is no process. That would not be a big surprise ā¦ might just need to email someone

How about the courtesy of a simple message that says āIām sorry, but due to weather conditions and office closures, notifications will now be released by (insert date). Sorry for the inconvenience.ā
