@LM3232, I just checked about how soon after finishing the ALEKS you can sign up for NSO (my son started his last night and needs to finish today). The NSO website says you can register 24 hours after completing the ALEKS.
To all of you patiently waiting for good news…keep the faith. I know at least 10 kids who were accepted to UP who will not be attending. Many kids in our school districts apply as their instate safety and then choose private schools in the end. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!

It’s my understanding that the earlier you sign up for NSO, the better, since you can choose courses and classes won’t be full, but I also know Schreyer students have a special NSO at the end of August and there’s no registration problem, so, ???
NSO has not been sent yet although they said today and I’m waiting!
@airway1 we are waiting as well. I called and they said if not today then tomorrow.
So basically NSOs and the ability to schedule classes is another way waiting list kids (who get accepted late) are screwed?
@MyaCocoa not necessarily. They open up new spots for most classes throughout the summer. D19 has many vacations planned this summer so we have limited time. I hope your son hears back soon!
@MyaCocoa hopefully not! I’ve been checking out subjects and timings the selection is great compared to my experience with my eldest at Michigan State …

you might have to do a few other things first before you can register, since you just finished the math test. Click on the pre-NSO homework link to see what needs to be completed before you can register for a date. Some people received emails today with this same info , so check yours just in case . @MyaCocoa hi re NSO’s technically yes (re waitlist kids get screwed), but most admits do not choose the early dates (before they graduate) and those are the dates that give the advantage. Also during the summer months classes open up
