Sports-crazy me wants to see whether anyone wants to play. Are people still interested post-Caitlin Clark?
We started the weekend with seven undefeated teams, and I heard we were down to four, but I can’t confirm that. I’ve only seen that Iowa State lost today so at least down to six.
Naturally, i am rooting for my no. 2 Longhorns. We had a scare today against no. 15 Ole Miss this afternoon but an ugly win is still a win, and we are still undefeated for now.
You play ND, and we play LSU. Both those teams lost this weekend. Kim Mulkey is going to be good and mad when we play her Sunday, and they won’t still be ranked no. 5 then.
Not looking forward to playing SC at their place. Beating them at a neutral site was great, but beating them a second time and at their home? Good luck to us!
I think that your women can beat LSU despite their home court advantage in what should be a dog fight. But taking on a South Carolina should be too much.
Was delighted to watch the Stanford-UNC game on TV and even more delighted with the OT win for Stanford. So much young talent on the team --excited to see how it all develops.
I’m a big South Carolina fan and have had season tix with my husband and sister and brother-in-law for over a decade (we all attended). This year is not a given for us. Too many injuries and new players to really assess how they’re going to do in the primetime. But, Dawn Staley always seems to know what she’s doing so I’m trusting and I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Nothing better than women’s basketball and I’m thrilled to see the sport growing.
I tend to not keep up with basketball until after Christmas, but it seems it is time to tune in for me with both mens & womens’ “Dores undefeated so far. Big win for the ladies against LSU over the weekend. Anchor Down!! D & family included me in a WBB game last year and hoping I will get to go to a game again this year.
We are in Iowa, so followed Caitlin Clark’s college career and now are following Audi Crooks at Iowa State. She had 5 games in a row with 30+ points, yesterday she broke that streak with 26 points in their loss to Baylor.
They fell from 3rd to 11th in the rankings, Iowa women are right behind them at 14.
It’s an exciting time for Iowa collegiate basketball as the men at ISU are #3 and the Iowa men are #19, 4 top 20 teams in a small state.
Texas just posted this. Who do y’all think will get the first loss? I looked up their schedules, and we are the only one to play a ranked team in the next week so I fear it will be us.
