2080+ On PR practice to a 1770 first time? ***.

Okay, So as soon as I finished the test I thought I must have made a bubbling error because I forgot to bubble in a half Math section right near the end and quickly bubbled in, without checking any other sections, this must be the explanation for my low score… OR my nervousness was the factor for the low score.

I usually got over 2050 on PR practice tests with a 10 essay, which is what I got on the actual SAT. This was my first time taking it, and I really want above 2200 for the SAT in june 2011. I know that I didn’t deserve a 1770, considering my family’s genetics and my sister who is less than a year older than me who scored 2320 (2160 first time)…

Considering that i consistently scored about 2050 on practice tests with only two weeks of practice, could I bring my score up to a 2100-2250 within four months of practice?- June 2011 SAT

Plus do you have any tips on how i should practice these four months.

if you’ve been doing well on your practice tests, don’t worry about your score; just retake it and you should do fine. i think if you study enough you could probably get a 2100+, but you shouldn’t assume you’ll do that well just because your sister did (you are different people). but four months of practice seems like enough time- just do a lot of practice on weekends, maybe looking at a range of prep books since they’ll probably give you a better range of advice than you’d get by just reading one. also, if your sister did very well, consider asking her to help you prepare, since she could probably give you some good tips. good luck! :)

Can you recommend amazing prep books for reading + math, that can help me get above 750+ in each?

Plus should I take a practice test everyweek, or do a few sections everyday timed.
