<p>Okay, so I plan on attending Ohio State in the fall to study Astrophysics. I recently got my financial aid package and it looks as if I will come out with $20K in debt. Is this a reasonable amount to pay off given my major? Thanks.</p>
<p>$20k total for all four years, is in the range that most parents here could consider to be reasonable.</p>
<p>$20k each year for four years, or a total of $80k, would not be reasonable. You couldn’t take it on in the first place without a co-signer.</p>
