21 on the ACT :( Advice

I got a 21 Composite on the ACT. It’s OKAY, there’s a solution. I think. I took this test with no preparation at all and found was not aware that incorrect answers do not count against you. Therefore, there was about 18 questions I did not do in each section.

How much do you think I could improve my score if I studied all the questions from my ACT book, so I won’t waste time trying to figure it out and complete a higher number of questions. And I could also take timed test from the booklet myself in order to substanantially increase my speed.

All I need is a 25 for the school I’d like to attend.

A lot.
If you have even took a peek on a test prep book, you should have know the format and the grading of the test to score much better. ACT 21 is right at the average. The question is whether you want to get the best score you can achieve. If you do, there is no waste of time going through practice tests after practice tests. Keep taking the test unprepared is really a waste of time and money.

Thank you! I don’t even know how, but I got a 10 on the writing? How does one do so well in this, yet fail on the rest of the test
