<p>Well back to my son’s situation, I think it specifically has to do with the type they were looking for that slot. He was edged out originally and they did not want to put him on the waitlist, knowing I think of other opportunities he might have or would have. It was expressed to him they felt it would have been a disservice putting him on the waitlist, they did not want to hold him up. Lots of schools have wait lists but they have different people sub in for different slots. It is not a numerical waiting in line situation.</p>
<p>If a football team loses a running back, they don’t replace him with a defensive tackle.</p>
