2220 SAT Score. Will a retake w/ little to no improvement look bad?

Hello so I have a 2220 SAT score with 1460 M+CR score. (760M, 700CR, 760W) I noticed having a 1500+ M+CR score opens up a lot more scholarship opportunities and I only need a 800M to do that which I don’t think would be hard. The thing is, if I take the test again and accomplish this but go down on CR/W sections, will it look bad to colleges like Stanford which requires me to report all SATs taken?

No thats pretty typical. Lots of students retake their tests and get slightly different results. This is especially true with the territory you are in, where missing just a question or 2 can alter you results. Schools see that all the time. GL.

Go For it Dude!
If you do decrease You will still have a 2100+ or a 2000+ which is still good

@Icon99 Yes it is good but relative to my first score wouldn’t a 2000 be considered a way too big of a drop?
