2250 SAT score needed.

Ok to begin. I studied 3 months for the SAT. (Literally) Skipping all my homeworks at school in hope to get a score, minimum, above 2000. However, in harsh reality, I ended up with 1500 composite score. 450 W 600 M 450 CR. To be honest, I have no idea how I ended up with that score because initially I took a pretest at my school without studying and got 1630. And it ironic that I ended up with 1500 after three-whole months of studying days and night. (Please note that I am not exaggerating.) I, also, am emabarrassed to post scores like these on a prestigious website. I request you people not to ignore this at all and actually HELP ME OUT.

Here’s what this breaks down to:

I have, after 4 weeks of school, the whole summer to study for the SAT for my LAST & FINAL attempt. Please give me tips/ideas/knowlege/sources to get my score 2250 or above.

Please guide me through. Any criticsm, if necessary, share it with me. In other words, please save my life. It would be great if you told me everything you did to achieve your prestigious score. Truly, I will appreciate you.

(I don’t want to be dramatic; however, I am shreded into tears writing this) Please help me, guys.

Read the pinned topics. This thread (<a href=“Everyone, read this before posting: Best of SAT Prep Forum and FAQs - SAT Preparation - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/763933-everyone-read-this-before-posting-best-of-sat-prep-forum-and-faqs-p1.html</a>) is a good compilation. Just work through Silverturtle’s guide and you should be set.

Also, maybe study a little less? Perhaps you were stressed out and couldn’t perform on the exam. In sports, overtraining can lead to poor performance/injury, and you don’t want to get too burned out here.

First, use Erica Meltzer’s website to get all of the rules that you need to know.

Second, use Direct Hits for vocab. It really helps.
