I scored a 23 on my ACT’s and that is not at all what I was wanting.
Is there any good private college’s that will accept a student with a 23
on their ACT’s. I was hoping for a 26, but that didn’t happen, so I am trying to deal with a 23.

even though a 23 is pretty good when compared to national averages, I think good privates usually like stuff in the upper 20s. If you want to go into the MIT-Harvard type schools, they have averages in the 30s (MIT likes 33s). These averages are also not set in stone as good privates also regard you as a person as well as other academic qualities (grades, classes, extra-curriculars, etc). But, to answer your question, a 23 is a fair stretch in getting into good privates (but of course, test scores are definetely not everything). Peace

OP,
I think 23 is too low for a “good” private college…the 25% range for colleges like Columbia is like a 29.

I got a 27 first time and 28 second time I took the ACT without any prior studying. Do you think its worth it for me to send to UC:B? My SAT is about 2050.

Breakdown:
English:31
Math:30
Reading:27
Science:25 (rather embarrassing as I am applying to engineering 0_0)

there are plenty of private schools that accept those scores, good ones too. And also good no-test score required ones.

There are plenty of schools that will accept you. Your grades are important when you score lower than you like, but many schools don’t even require test scores now. What is your GPA? Can you give us an idea what you want to study or what general geographical area you want to be in?
