What gets me here is that it seems as if the grooming was obvious to everyone on campus, and the mother had called the dorm parent early on with her concerns. This is recent - only six to eight years ago.
It’s upsetting. Clearly, this school was not interested in seeing the signs, and intervening.
This is egregious behavior on the part of the school and its lawyers. I usually side with the school, but in this case the school was not only NOT looking out for the student’s interests, it was actively stalling the student until the statute of limitations ran out. Their lawyers should be sued as well.
In the BS world, that is ancient. Perhaps @skieurope or @london203 would care to comment.
