2400 in 6 days?

Hey everyone,

I am taking the SAT in 6 days just like many others in the nation. Currently, I am hitting around 2200’s shooting for 2300-2400. Any tips on what I can do in the next 6 days to get 5-7 more questions correct?

all i can say is be very careful, don’t make mistakes, and may luck be with you.

we can do this :)

Count me in this pool. In the high 22s to low 23s. ahhh stupid critical reading :/

edit: I have heard so many weird theories about the Jan test: It’s easier because all of the football players take it and they need to meet a minimum required score LOL

I don’t think there’s a whole lot you can do to raise your score at the point you’re at, unless you are repeatedly missing questions that test understanding of the same concepts. Other than that it’s really just a matter of luck IMO.

Go to sleep early and eat a good breakfast before the test! Good luck.

Thanks!
Any other tips/comments/suggestions?

Any weird strategies that work for you guys? On any section?

Probably the hardest I assume, is October, right? There are many seniors who are taking it a second time (in order to do better) right before applying…

Sigh, I wish I did more practice tests. Currently I am hitting around 2100, but hopefully if I don’t make careless sign mistakes in Math, and I read more extensively and quickly the CR section, plus if I memorize all the SAT words and historical events I can for the Essay, I can get a 2200+. I’m also taking it in March, with my eventual goal 2300+. That goal probably will be reached if I take the October or November test in senior year, but I’m not doing any SAT 1s in May or June because I’m taking the Subject Tests then. Good luck.

What I’m doing is I’m reading the SAT Prep Black Book by Mike Barrett, and I highly suggest reading it if you haven’t already. It’s pretty cheap on Amazon and I bet you could read it in the next 6 days.

Other than that, develop a normal and healthy sleep schedule over the next 6 days if you haven’t already, and make sure you have a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner over the next 6 days as well.

Thanks! bumpp

bump for luck

Yeahhhhhhhh let’s kick ETS’s ass!

hope the rest of you did well! (wish me luck on my next try D:)
