25, No Income, Financial Aid, COVID-19?

No one wants to take out student loans but most students do.

Sounds like you need to get through 2 years which is obviously less than 4 so less money in loans.

Since you plan to return to your old college/university, you should get in touch with their financial aid office and ask what you need to do. They are the people who matter here.

And are your parents planning to help you pay for these last two years of college…or not.

Depending on the cost of that college, if you aren’t getting parental help, and the college can’t give you sufficient aid…you might not be able to return there.

Are you planning to start in fall 2020? Of so, you may have missed the deadlines for applying for need based institutional aid already.

Call and ask.

Have you been readmitted?

At many colleges, you get billed for college health insurance unless you waive the school plan and show evidence you have your own coverage.

And I ask…you left on your trip when you were 23. What college credits did you get between ages 18-23? If you were attending college full time, you should have been able to complete your bachelors in five years. What happened that prevented that from happening?
