250 word Common App personal essay -- too short?

<p>I have what I think is a good 250-word common app essay. Is the fact that it’s so short going to kill my chances?</p>

<p>-EDIT- Just checked, it’s actually 312 words. Still, the point remains…</p>

<p>If it’s good, the length shouldn’t be an issue. My common app essay was around that length, and it got me into Duke.</p>
