28 ACT score.. is this low?!

I got my october ACT score back, this was my first time taking it.
My superscore SAT score is a 1910
and my highest SAT score in one sitting is 1850.
Which one should I send to colleges?

The 28 is equivalent to a 1920 so send that and not the SAT.

Yep, send the ACT, especially if it’s the first time you took it and so you’ll only be submitting one score!

is this score too low for schools like usc, berkeley , an UCSD??

It’s lower than average for usc and cal but it should be fine for UCSD.

ACT to SAT concordance actually puts a 28 at approximately an 1880. Which is still good, just saying.

Beyond that, 28 is kind of low for the upper schools out there but it’s overall a quite good score. People like to shoot for 30+ though.

I see… Well I missed the December deadline, so I guess I’m stuck with the score… Hopefully I’ll be okay. Thanks for the info!!
