If I get either of these, I’m looking at a possible full ride. So, I’m pretty excited, yet nervous as well.

What is the minimum score you’re looking to achieve?

If I get either of these, I’m looking at a possible full ride. So, I’m pretty excited, yet nervous as well.

What is the minimum score you’re looking to achieve?

Full ride 'cause of those scores? Really? Hmm, well, they’re not too hard to achieve so you probably won’t have much trouble.

“they’re not too hard to achieve”

it depends on whose standards. A 28+ ACT is in at least the 80th percentile, so at least 80% don’t achieve that score. It’s not really fair to say “they’re not too hard to achieve,” because that discounts all the bad test takers. But if you are a typical CC’er, then it’s not “too hard.”

I already took the ACTs/SATs but my junior year goals were 28+ ACT and 1800+ SAT.

I was in a similar situation for my safety school. Good luck. I was looking for a 29 for my safety school and I was pleasantly surprised to get higher. Which should help my other schools.

It seems from your name that you live in Jacksonville, FL. I’ve live there, too.

So if you go to Stanton or Paxon, you should have no problem.

Minimum score I hope to achieve = 2370.

Either taking it for the first time in June or January (I’m Sophomore now).

Really? because a 29 is 95th percentile…

I live in Alabama, actually. My dad went to Marshall, so we’re Leftwich fans.

The scholarship I’m applying for is at Marshall.

Let me rephrase it: it shouldn’t be too hard for full ride students.

they did say AT LEAST in the 80th percentile. I also know a 30 is the 97th percentile

28 on the ACT is 91 percentile

It’s an 88% percentile using SAT’s percentile method of at or above your score.

93rd percentile.

28 is 91 percentile
30 is 96 percentile

According to the last ACT

Guys go to [ACT Score Information: National Ranks for Test Scores and Composite Score](<a href=“ACT Test Scores | ACT Scoring | ACT”>ACT Test Scores | ACT Scoring | ACT), just copy past the website or something. It says the percentiles for each and every ACT composite and subscore.

For the last time ACT of 28 is 91 percentile. It’s a good score considering you beat 91% of everyone who takes the test.
29 is 94 percentile
30 is 96 percentile

and cjgone, i don’t know how you got your answers, post your website or something. I’ve got proof from the ACT website, so I know mine is accurate

Old thread, lets revive it!
