2nd round of evaluation at upitts?

<p>I was expecting either an interview invite/ rejection.
But yesterday I received an email from the MCDB program at the University of Pittsburgh saying that I’ve made through the first round and they will be in touch with me by the end of Feb after the 2nd round of evalution. they didn’t mention any interview. </p>

<p>I’m curious what’s happening. could someone explain the process behind? they just reread my application again? </p>

<p>Or actually every school is like this. Just Upitts is considerate enough to tell you the stage you are in.</p>

<p>They definitely never told me what stage I was in! Lol They just sent me a letter asking for my mid-year grades and that they are going to re-review my application which they said is common. I just got accepted this week. Anyway, good luck! Hope you hear the good news soon! :D</p>

<p>Perhaps this is something similar to being wait-listed? That happened to me at a school or two at the grad level.</p>

<p>Thanks! No, I wasn’t MCDB. I just applied into the school of arts and sciences. Maybe that’s why it was so fast…</p>
