<p>Well I have a 3.1 gpa and a 33 on the act. I’m an eagle scout, and a 2nd degree black belt in taekwondo, I play the saxaphone, and I am in the schools top band, and have lettered 3 years on the fencing team. I have taken 4 ap courses by my junior year, and am taking 4 my senior year, and I attend a very competitive high school, which is ranked in the top 40’s ish by newsweek or some other magazine. All classes that weren’t aps that I’ve taken have been honors.</p>
<p>With this could I get into either vanderbilt or case western reserve? I’ve been told that I wouldn’t be able to get into either school by some of my class mates, but a few of them told me no college would take me if I had less than a 3.5, which I know isn’t true. So what would be my chances of getting into either one? If they aren’t good, what would be some alternates that would be similar to these schools? Thanks in advance!</p>
