3.4 UW GPA, can I get in Early Decision and do I look like I fit in?

<p>This hunch is preventing me from applying anywhere for Early Decision. Also, the hunch is telling me that I won’t be getting in SCEA. This hunch I get is accurate quite often</p>

<p>The thing that’s weighing you down is your unweighted GPA. Otherwise, I think you would have a good chance, especially with that ACT score and those SAT IIs, if we’re talking about academics. Your extracurriculars show a good range of interests :). Are there any other colleges you’re considering?</p>

<p>I’d be glad to read over your essay(s) for you; I applied to Duke myself and got accepted, but I eventually decided to go to WashU.</p>

<p>Oh my God. Are you kidding me? You have an almost A average on the GPA scale and you have a SUPPOSED 36 on the ACT. Are you trying to brag or something?</p>

<p>Just apply. If you get rejected, apply ED II. If you get rejected there, better wait till April 1st and decide from all the other Ivy Leagues you will get into.</p>
