3.5 weighted gpa and 2170 sat

<p>What GOOD BUSINESS school can I apply to with these stats…</p>

<p>I applied to these schools so far:</p>

<p>Penn State (UP)
UIUC
Lehigh
Fordham
Northeastern</p>

<p>and I was only accepted into Penn State and Fordham. I was deferred to UIUC, Lehigh, and Northeastern. </p>

<p>:(</p>

<p>My EC’s are not stellar or even amazing, but fairly decent. My rec’s should be okay. I took 5 AP courses including senior year. </p>

<p>SAT I Breakdown:
WR 730
M 780
CR 660
(1440/1600, 2170/2400)</p>

<p>SAT II:
IC - 740
IIC - 760</p>

<p>AP Exam:
AP Calc AB - 5</p>

<p>GPA:
3.515 Weighted (most likely 3.33 UW)</p>

<p>Can I not apply to good universities because of my GPA… I’m really scared because I’ve been deferred 3 times already.</p>

<p>I want to apply to:</p>

<p>Indiana University at Bloomington (I know it’s a reach school, especially considering I’m applying for business, but selectivity rate was around 70% so I thought it would be worth a try)</p>

<p>Baruch College (I think I’ll get in here)</p>

<p>WHERE ELSE CAN I APPLY? DO I HAVE HOPE?</p>

<p>I don’t think your 3.5 is hurting you as much as you think it is. From what you posted, it just kind of seems as though you are a very one dimensional applicant. All math and weak in the other subjects. And even in math your numbers aren’t exceptional. And, as you say, your ECs aren’t amazing.</p>

<p>But yes, in my opinion a 3.5 gpa should not be hurting you as severely as it is when you have a 2100+ SAT</p>

<p>he applied to them as safeties. Reasonable. Although I’m not sure why he applied to so many schools ED. Unless all but one were EA.</p>
