How are my chances for:
UW - Madison
Marquette Univ.
UM - Twin Cities
NYU
Boston Univ.
Phili Univ.
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
University of Chicago
Washington University in St. Louis

i think you’re good for NYU, UofM, Boston, Washington University in St. Louis
definitely NYU with all of that journalism stuff
GPA’s a little low
national merit semi-finalist?

I somewhat disagree with Pwaff… Washington U, NYU, U Chicago and U Michigan are definate reaches. Boston U’s more of a match and I don’t know about the others.

Raise the ACT for Wisconsin. You stand a decent chance right now, but it would be a safe match if you get it to a 28.

You’ll get into Marquette, Minnesota, and Boston. You stand no chance at Chicago and WUSTL. Michigan is an obtainable reach, again, raise your score. I’d say the same for NYU, obtainable reach. I’ve never heard of Phili Univ before.

yeah I know people who have gotten into NYU with 29 on the ACT… and uhh I think the national merit semi-finalist cut-off this year will be around 215
