<p>How much is an UW 3.833 shooting me in the foot? I’ve gotten on B per semester ( same subject) since freshman year. Is that a pretty much out? Our school weights A+s, A-s, A’s etc the same.</p>
<p>Depends on which classes it is in. APs are going to hurt less than non-honors.</p>

<p>I got in with some Bs (humanity-esque courses and I’m going into engineering, if it matters). If you have Bs in english, consider Caltech. They are probably the one school that won’t give a **** about humanities grades. Stanford will care, but they are definitely willing to admit A students with occasional Bs (especially if they are all in one subject).</p>

Well not totally, SAT usually tests the basics of a subject. Like SAT math tests the basics of math (Geometry, Algebra). However, I have to say, a 3.833 is a good GPA you have a chance. Can you post your stats?</p>
