3 Antique Porcelain Questions

<li><p>Who made German porcelain (guess early 1900’s)with this mark: JR in the center, with a circle that has hyphens all around the circle? If you know the answer, could you tell me what pattern 29335 is called?</p></li>
<li><p>Anyone know who made Asian looking bobble head dolls in Germany in the late 1800s/early 1900s, other than Meissen? The mark looks like a shield with a couple of vague lines in it. I have looked through markings online, but no luck. I am guessing as to the time period.</p></li>
<li><p>Do Oscar & Edgar Gutherz have anything to do with Straus, Lewis and Sons as far as antique china? Some family members have 2 patterns of china that look very much alike from these 2 manufacturers. They are maroon and gold. If you know the name of the possible pattern please let me know. Strauss, Lewis and Sons were around from 1890-1920, so I assume this china is from that time period.</p></li>

<p>Thanks bpk1. I just thought someone on here is into antiques, fine arts, and either has the books at their finger tips, and will send a PM or post. I don’t want to get into photos here. For a novice, these things are tough to research online. I really think you need the right reference books.</p>
