3 easy questions

I just made a really wordy thread on the same topic, but if it’s too long for me to read I won’t bore you, so here’s the shortened version:

I got into my first choice college with a C or two on my transcript already. I had a 3.1, was 44/98, with a 30 ACT upon admission. The college requires semester grades.

If I add two or three more C’s at semester (with every intention of getting none second semester) will I get rescinded?

Should I wait to make my decision until after grades come out? I have all the acceptance letters I need, but I am hesitant to tell my safety that I won’t be attending with my grades as they are.

Is it to my benefit to take the ACT again and try to score higher? Might this counteract a few bad grades?

if you got into your school already there’s no need to retake the ACT. You should simply focus on not getting those C’s. You should also contact the school and ask about their policy on rescinding admissions. Otherwise, i’d say wait until after second semester to put a down payment on your first choice school.

I’m doing everything I can and more, but I am realistic about it. No matter what I do there is a good chance I will have grades on my first semester transcript that are not A’s or B’s. I am more concerned with anything I can do to control the effects of those grades.

My offer of admission is contingent upon successful completion of my senior year coursework with no significant changes in my academic performance. I could potentially double my number of C’s in this one semester. That’s why it worries me.
