3 High School Sciences [biology, chemistry, and physics] for Boston College

Hi! I am going to be a senior this year and want to be competitive for Boston College. In my junior year, I chose not to take a science class and instead took AP Economics (Macro and Micro). This year, I am enrolled in Physics to meet graduation requirements. I am also enrolled in AP Psych and APES. I want to drop either AP Psych or APES to have a study hall, as my course load will be pretty demanding. I am more interested in AP Psych, but is it worth keeping APES instead to be more competitive for BC? I would then have Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and APES. I want to study International Studies, Political Science, and Spanish in college. Please let me know if I am making myself less competitive for BC by taking only the three main sciences. Thank you.

Google the common data set for Boston College and look at the list of required/recommended HS courses. See if they want 3 or 4 sciences.

They recommend 4.

But they also recommend 4 of every core subject, which is not always realistic. Or possible depending on HS requirements.

Personally, I don’t see APES as make or break if the OP has 4 years of all the other core subjects.
