For me, there are three factors that can enable myself to thrive for excellence in SAT testings.
Enjoyment
Motivation
Discipline

Of all the above factors, I don’t possess any of them. If I only had one of these, then I believe that I would be able to achieve my goal of 2300. Most of the people who have achieved excellent scores were also great self-motivators. Rarely people enjoy or need to be disciplined in order to achieve a decent score on the SAT. So how do I stay motivated and so that I won’t be sidetracked?

Blah, blah. There’s no secret, no factors, gaaahhhh! You study for the test by getting familiar with the questions, then you take the real thing and see how you do.

That’s it.

People who talk about getting 2300s never get them. People who get off forums to study and practice sometimes get them.

Haha XD To prove my point that these tests test nothing but diligence, here are my (shocking) scores:

Took the ACT unprepared, unwilling, and totally…out of my mind: 30 (29, 26, 28, 30 or something on the seperate sections)

Took the SAT after sharing my brain with 60 practice exams: 2400

I don’t know what happened with the SAT II’s (2x800). I think I was just lucky…plus math and physics are my best subjects for a certain reason (reason: I HATE LITERATURE/HISTORY/SOCIAL SCIENCES/ ENGLISH GRAMMAR/ ANYTHING LIKE THAT XD)

I would be very careful making accusations on a publicly viewed webite that someone is an alcoholic, lazy and conceited. The legal ramifications could be quite serious and if you can delete that post you should…immediately!
