I read my Stanford essays 20 times for spelling mistakes but forgot to check the activities section… I have 3 major mistakes in the titles of my activities! What should I do?!

I don’t think it would be a guaranteed rejection. I think Admissions would like their applications to proofread and use correct spelling. However, I don’t think these little mistakes will guarantee you a rejection letter. And I’ve never heard of withdrawing your application. If you are really worried, you could always send Admissions an email with the corrections. I did that when I saw that I had put down the wrong hours for an activity, and they simply attached my email to my applicant file!

Lol @ your SN. But, I don’t think you should alert the adcom of your spelling mistakes. The mistakes aren’t deal-breakers and adding on to your original application after you sent it in sort of makes you seem uptight and nitpicky. Yes, as the above poster said, colleges of this caliber would like for applicants to use spell-check BEFORE submitting, but I think that there’s more to lose from drawing attention to your mistakes than there is to gain. Just my two cents.
