3 Quick Questions

I am planning on applying to both UPenn and Columbia. I created my Columbia PIN account first; however when I tried to create my UPenn one it claimed the account I created would be a duplicate and when I subsequently tried to log in with my previous Columbia ID it just led my to my Columbia application. What am I supposed to do?

My SAT 1 score is extremely shoddy (1950) compared to that of my ACT (33). Therefore, would it be worth it to simply not submit my SAT II scores (690,680), to not reveal my dismal SAT 1 score? It does say SAT IIs are optional…

Finally, on the transfer applications it asks me for the “date left” at my current college. Am I just supposed to write down the date I would leave if I was hypothetically admitted?

Thank you.

1) Don't know

2) I would only submit the ACT score. No sense in volunteering information that detracts from your application.

3) Since the question does not apply to you, I would either leave it blank or write "N/A" or "currently attending".

So I wouldn't be at a disadvantage not sending in my SAT II's?

Find out how "shoddy" your score is relative to the schools' medians of accepted students. If it really is bad, the only thing you'd accomplish by submitting would be to highlight your shortcomings. So I wouldn't call choosing not to do this a disadvantage. That's how I see it anyway. Your call of course.
