3 Sciences and Stats?

Fall 2010

Statistics 131A

IB 164

IB 131/L
PH 142

Is this a reasonable schedule?

I am an IB:EEOB major. The top classes are the major requirements. Anatomy and microbiology are occupation requirements.

you realize stats 131a and ph 142 are almost the same right? which one is for which major? if one is for an elective, you should switch it for something else (131a is harder from what i hear b/c its filled with more stats/econ/math people and also has a harsher curve)

im takin 142 with 131 too though! (btw you meant fall 11 not fall 10 right?)

im not sure about ib 164 myself

It appears you are one of those rare Track 1 prehealth students (most prehealth students choose Track 2).

Take Stat 2 instead of 131A. What I have been told, most grad/prof schools that want statistics are sufficiently pleased by 2. If you make that replacement, you should be ok. It will be a somewhat tough semester but it should be fine.

Also, I am thinking you mean PH 162A+162L if you are planning on taking microbiology. Also, I figured you should know both 142 and 162A count as IB elective, so either of those are major recognized courses. http://ib.berkeley.edu/student/courses/elective.php

Sorry, members. >_< Thanks for your replies.

I meant PH 162A, not 142. I also definitely meant Fall 2011.

So what I was supposed to list was:

IB 164
Stats 131A
PH 162A
IB 131/L

Yeah. I am pre-vet and my advisor told me to do track 1. IB 131/L is for alternative health-science related career options.
